July 30, 12PM – 3PM EST | The Community Education team at The Mental Health Association in New Jersey in collaboration with Pleasant Valley Productions at The Oskar Schindler Performing Arts Center and the West Orange Human Relations Commission present the 3rd Annual BIPOC Messages of Hope and Celebration will be held Sunday, July 30th from 12pm-3pm at the Oskar Schindler Performing Arts Center located at 4 Boland Drive West Orange NJ. This is an outdoor event. Bring a lawn chair or blanket. There is free parking and indoor restroom facilities. This event is designed to be a creative expression of celebration, vibrancy, courage, hope, and resilience through the unique lens of people of color. You are invited to wear something that represents your cultural origin. There will be a featured performance by the internationally acclaimed iDance Ministry Project Broken, resource tables with mental health and wellness information and opportunities for equity advocacy. This is a free family-friendly event. Free parking is available at an adjacent lot, indoor restroom facilities are available.
